Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C fan). Prepare a small ovenproof ceramic baking dish, or a piece of aluminium foil/baking paper that you can shape into a parcel.
Slice the tomatoes and TV pepper into thin rings. Peel the garlic cloves and crush or slice them very finely.
Assembly and baking
Arrange half of the sliced tomatoes and pepper in the bottom of the baking dish, sprinkle with the garlic, then drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.
Chef's tip
If you want an even juicier dish, you can add a few juicy Kalamata olives under the feta before baking.
Greek bouyiourdi is traditionally best served piping hot, when the feta becomes creamy and the tomatoes release their sweet juices with the olive oil.
