Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 200 g dates
- 100 g cashews
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 pc parchment paper
- 1 pc cling film
Pour water over the dates and let them soak overnight to soften. Then drain the water, cut them into smaller pieces, and purée them in a food processor. Add the cashews and cocoa powder, then blend briefly until a moldable mixture is formed.
Press the mixture into a granola bar mold. If you don't have one, a loaf pan lined with parchment paper is also perfect: smooth the mixture into it and press it down firmly with your hands to ensure there are no gaps.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, then cut into 6 equal slices. Wrap them in parchment paper or cling film to prevent them from drying out.
Chef's tip
The slices can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
