Place the oatmeal, soft butter, pitted dates, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt into a food processor or blender, and process until a uniform mixture is formed.

Form small balls from the mixture with your palms.

Crush the freeze-dried raspberries into small pieces, then roll the balls in them. Tip: instead of raspberries, you can also use chopped pistachios or walnuts for coating.
Chef's tip
If the mixture is too dry, add a teaspoon of water or orange juice for easier shaping.
