Ingredients overview
- 300 g fine oatmeal
- 70 g honey
- 50 g butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 50 g peanut butter
- 70 g dried cranberries
- 1 pinch salt
Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a small baking tray (approx. 25 cm × 30 cm) with baking paper.
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the oatmeal, honey, butter, vanilla extract, peanut butter, dried cranberries, and a pinch of salt. Press the mixture firmly into the baking tray – first with your palms, then with the bottom of a glass – to ensure no air bubbles remain and the slices don't break apart when cut.
Bake at 170–180 °C for approximately 20–25 minutes, until golden brown. After baking, remove from the tray, let cool for at least 35 minutes, then cut into rectangular slices with a sharp knife (a bread knife is best).
Chef's tip
If you want even crispier slices, add a handful of chopped walnuts or pumpkin seeds to the mixture!
