Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 210-215 °C and prepare a baking tray of approx. 30 cm × 25 cm.
Deseed the red bell pepper, cut it into larger pieces, and place it on the baking tray. Peel the red onion, cut it into quarters along with the tomatoes, and add them to the pepper. Peel the garlic, grate it finely, and also place it on the baking tray. Finally, sprinkle with dried oregano, basil, salt, and pepper, drizzle with rapeseed oil, then mix thoroughly. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta: bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Once the water boils, add the whole wheat pasta and cook for 14-15 minutes (or according to package directions) until al dente. Then drain it.
Chef's tip
When serving, you can sprinkle with a little grated Parmesan or toasted pine nuts for an even more intense flavor experience.
