Preparation method
Prepare a large pot, fill it with water for cooking the pasta, and bring it to a boil over high heat. Salt the water, and once it starts boiling, add the spaghetti. Cook for the time indicated on the package (approx. 10-12 minutes) until al dente. Once done, drain the pasta.
Meanwhile, peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. In a medium pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the garlic slices and sauté for about 1 minute.
Then add the halved cherry tomatoes, gently press them with a wooden spoon to release their juices, and continue to sauté for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.
Chef's tip
Use mini mozzarella balls for even faster preparation!
