Preparation method
Making the pesto:
Chop the ingredients or put them into a food processor, and pour in some olive oil. Process them, adding more oil as you go. Continue to blend until smooth; it's fine if it remains a bit chunky, it adds to the texture.
Assembly:
While making the pesto, put the pasta on to cook.
In a pan, fry the bacon and onions in olive oil and season. Spoon in the pesto and pour in the cream. Cook the sauce together, then add the cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese and mix thoroughly so that everything is evenly distributed.
