A bácskai rizseshús a magyar konyha egyik legkedveltebb, tartalmas egytálétele.

Preparation method
Preparation
Wash the pork shoulder, pat dry, and cut into approx. 2x2 cm cubes. Finely chop the onion and garlic, core and dice the TV pepper, and cut the tomato into small cubes.
Thoroughly rinse the rice in cold water in a sieve, then drain well.
Preparing the stew base and meat
In a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep skillet, melt 2 tbsp lard. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté over medium heat until translucent.
Chef's tip
If you prefer an even richer flavor, fry 50 g of diced smoked bacon when melting the lard for the stew base!
The secret to the perfect texture is not to stir it too much after adding the rice, so the rice grains remain whole and absorb the paprikash gravy.
