A bácskai rizses hús a hagyományos magyar konyha egyik legízletesebb egytálétele. Szaftos sertéspörköltalap, friss paprika, paradicsom és a szaftban puhára párolt pergős rizs tökéletes egysége.
Preparation method
Preparation and stew base
Clean the pork shoulder, then cut it into approx. 2 cm cubes. Finely chop the onion and garlic, and dice the TV pepper and tomatoes.
Melt the lard in a large pot, add the chopped onion, and sauté over medium heat until translucent. Remove from heat, sprinkle over the sweet paprika, and stir well.
Browning and braising the meat
Place the pot back on the heat, add the diced pork, and sear until whitened to seal the meat.
Chef's tip
For a perfectly juicy result, it is best to choose a fattier cut of pork, such as pork shoulder, instead of pork leg.
If you want an even richer flavor, use hot homemade vegetable or meat stock instead of water to pour over the rice.
