A Stefánia vagdalt az egyik legnépszerűbb és legünnepibb magyar klasszikus húsétel: szaftos, fűszeres marhahúsba rejtett, aranyló kemény tojások, kívül ropogós morzsakéreggel. Krémes házi burgonyapürével és savanyúsággal verhetetlen vasárnapi ebéd.

Preparation
Put 4 eggs on to boil in lightly salted water. Boil for 9-10 minutes from the point of boiling until hard-boiled, then immediately cool in cold water and peel them.
Tear the bread rolls into smaller pieces, pour the lukewarm milk over them, and let them soak for a few minutes until completely softened. Then thoroughly squeeze out the excess liquid.
Finely chop the onion, and crush or finely grate the garlic cloves.
Chef's tip
The secret to perfect slicing is patience: if you cut the meatloaf while hot, the slices may fall apart. Once cooled to lukewarm, you get a beautiful, clean mosaic cross-section where the yellow egg centers show.
If you want an even juicier result, sauté the onion in a little fat for a few minutes before adding it to the minced beef.
