Kifli Kukták

Kiváló magyaros maradékmentő fogás, amely a korábbi napokról megmaradt főtt rizst varázsolja újjá! A fűszeres sült kolbászkarikák és pirított csiperkegomba szaftja átjárja a rizs szemeit, miközben a gazdag tojásos-tejfölös öntet és a ropogósra sült trappista sajtos kéreg igazán laktató, házias tepsis finomsággá teszi.

Preparation method

Preparation and basics

1

Thoroughly loosen the pre-cooked leftover rice with a fork so that no large clumps remain. Clean the button mushrooms and slice them thinly. Slice the dry sausage thinly, finely dice the onion, and crush the garlic.

2

In a deep bowl, whisk the sour cream with the eggs, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper until smooth. Coarsely grate the Trappist cheese and finely chop the fresh parsley.

Preparing the mushroom and sausage ragout

1

In a large skillet, melt the lard over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and fry for 2-3 minutes until nicely browned and it releases its flavorful, spicy fat.

Chef's tip

Leftover cooked rice is often drier, which is actually a distinct advantage in this recipe: it absorbs the flavorful sausage fat and egg-sour cream mixture perfectly, so the dish does not become soggy, but remains juicy and creamy.

If you want to make it even richer, you can add a little green peas, sweet corn, or leftover roasted meat to the ragout.
