Preparation method
Grease two round baking pans with oil.
Crumble the yeast into 60 ml of lukewarm water, then add the remaining 280 ml of lukewarm water. Stir in the extra virgin olive oil.
Measure the flour and salt into a bowl, then make a well in the center. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead with a stand mixer on medium speed for about 9 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. Add the finely chopped rosemary leaves and knead for another 1 minute.
Chef's tip
You will need two 25 cm round pans for baking.
Rising time may vary depending on temperature and yeast freshness. Always wait until the dough has visibly risen, otherwise the result will be too dense.
