- 200 g cottage cheese
- 145 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pc egg for brushing
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for sprinkling
Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Blend the cottage cheese until smooth, then mix it in a bowl with the flour and baking powder. Knead into a soft, slightly sticky dough, then knead for at least 4 minutes until elastic. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts (approx. 80 g each), form them into balls, then flatten them and make a hole in the middle to create a bagel shape. Place them on the baking sheet, brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the bagels are nicely golden brown. Let them cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.
