Preparation method
Wash the tomatoes, then cut them into even slices.
Drain the buffalo mozzarella, and also slice it or tear it into smaller pieces according to taste.
Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on a platter. Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves (tear larger ones by hand).
Chef's tip
For the best result, use room temperature tomatoes, as this will make their flavor much more intense.
When serving, you can also drizzle with a little thick balsamic glaze for an even more special taste experience.
