Its skin can be yellow or pink. Its shape is elongated, narrower than other types. Potato salad is very popular in Hungary. Be it mayonnaise or pumpkin seed oil version. Easy to make, filling side dish.

Interesting fact

The starch content of table potatoes varies between 14-18%.
Its protein content is low - on average around 2% - but its biological value is very good. In addition to nutrients, the vitamin content of potatoes is also worth mentioning; it contains mainly vitamins C, B1 and B2.

Usage

Potato for salad, does not boil apart. It remains whole even after cooking, its texture is fine-grained. If we want the potato salad to stay whole, or if we want to focus on the look of the layered potato, we use this. The boiled potato can be sliced well.

Store in a dry, cool place, between 5-10°C.
