Kifli Kukták
Kiváló magyaros maradékmentő fogás szikkadt kenyérből, szaftos nyári lecsós zöldségekkel, tejfölös-tojásos öntettel és aranybarnára sült trappista sajttal.
Preparation method
Preparation and sautéing vegetables
Cut the stale bread into approx. 2–3 cm cubes. Finely chop the onion, dice the TV peppers and tomatoes, and crush the garlic.
Heat half of the sunflower oil in a pan, then sauté the onion and peppers for 3–4 minutes. Add the crushed garlic, sweet paprika, salt, pepper, and tomatoes, then stir together for another 2 minutes to create a juicy lecsó base.
Mixing egg liquid and layering
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and half of the sour cream, then season with a little salt and pepper.
Chef's tip
If you have leftover roasted sausage or ham ends in the fridge, dice them and fry them along with the onion for an even richer flavor.
The recipe also works perfectly with sourdough bread, crescent rolls, or stale pastries.
