Kifli Kukták

Kifli Kukták

Ismered a klasszikus mátrai borzaskát? Most képzeld el ugyanezt a zseniális koncepciót szaftos, omlós marhahúsból! A vékonyra klopfolt marhaszeleteket fűszeres, ropogósra piruló reszelt burgonyabundába öltöztetjük, majd forrón megkenjük fokhagymás tejföllel, és bőven megszórjuk aranyló, olvadó trappista sajttal. Kívül utánozhatatlanul ropog, belül szaftos és puha – igazi vasárnapi kedvenc a Kifli konyhájából, amitől mindenkinek fülig ér majd a szája!

Preparation method

Preparation

1

Slice the beef sirloin into 4 equal slices, then gently and evenly pound them thin with a meat mallet (about half a centimeter thick). Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper using half of the measured seasonings.

2

Peel the potatoes and grate them using the coarse or medium side of a grater. Squeeze out excess moisture by hand or using a clean kitchen towel so that the coating fries up truly crispy.

3

Mix the grated potatoes with the beaten eggs, 2 cloves of minced garlic, the remaining salt and pepper, and 40 g of all-purpose flour until you get a thick, well-binding mixture.

Chef's tip

It is worth letting the beef sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before pounding, so it stays much juicier and more tender during quick frying in hot oil.

For an even richer experience, place the sour cream-spread and cheese-topped slices under a hot oven grill at 200 °C for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and melted.
