- 8 slices toast bread
- 200 g sliced Edam cheese (min. 30%)
- 8 teaspoons soft butter
Steps
- 1Butter both sides of the sliced toast bread. Place the cheese on the buttered side of one slice, then place the other slice on top, with its buttered side facing the cheese.
- 2Heat a pan over medium heat and place the prepared sandwiches in it. Cook for 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 3Flip them over, then cover the pan with a lid and cook for another 2 minutes. It's ready when the bread is golden brown on both sides and the cheese has melted.
- 4For preparation, you will need a pan with a lid.
