- 15 pcs fresh basil leaves
- 4 cloves garlic
- 230 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pc baguette or other pastry
Let the butter soften at room temperature in a bowl. Meanwhile, wash and finely chop the fresh basil leaves, then crush the garlic cloves.
Add the chopped basil, crushed garlic, and a pinch of salt to the softened butter. Mix thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed.
Place the herb butter in the refrigerator for the flavors to meld and the butter to solidify again. Serve with fresh baguette or your favorite pastry.

Basil butter also pairs excellently with grilled meats and vegetables.
