Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 120 g pulled beef
- 100 g cabbage
- 50 g vine tomatoes
- 40 g sliced cheddar cheese
- 60 g mayonnaise
- 1 g garlic granules
- 10 g BBQ sauce
- 1 g smoked paprika
- 1 handful mixed salad
- 1 pc gherkin
- 1 pc hamburger bun
- 10 g carrot
- 10 ml apple cider vinegar
- 5 g salt
- 5 g granulated sugar
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 50 g butter
Cut the cabbage into fine strips, add the grated carrot and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly, then flavour with apple cider vinegar. Let it sit for the flavours to meld.
Heat the pulled beef in a pan or on a grill. Season with garlic granules, smoked paprika, and BBQ sauce. If the meat seems too dry while heating, pour in a little broth and add a tablespoon of butter.
Cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them cut-side down in a little butter. Assemble the burger in the following order: bottom bun, coleslaw salad, mixed salad leaves, juicy pulled beef, cheddar cheese, tomato slices, gherkins, and finally the top bun.
Chef's tip
It is advisable to prepare the coleslaw salad at least 30 minutes before serving, so that the vegetables soften slightly and the flavours harmonise.
