A zalai konyha egyik legfinomabb büszkesége!
Preparation method
Preparation
Peel the potatoes, then grate them using a fine or medium grater into a bowl. Squeeze out some of the excess moisture, but do not dry them out completely.
Add the flour, eggs, 150 g sour cream, 2 minced garlic cloves, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to the grated potatoes. Mix thoroughly to get a thick, creamy batter.
Baking
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top and bottom heat). Generously grease a large baking sheet with pork lard (approx. 30 g) so that the bottom of the prósza bakes crispy.
Chef's tip
The prósza is best when you don't skimp on greasing the bottom of the baking sheet with high-quality pork lard – this creates a truly crispy crust.
You can also top it with fried Kolozsvári bacon cracklings or grated cheese during the last few minutes of baking.
