Producer Information
TITBIT, s.r.o. brings new flavors to the market in the form of exotic fruits, vegetables, fresh herbs, and spices. It is one of the largest suppliers in the Czech Republic – without foreign capital participation – and to a wide network of retail chains. It is a pioneer in the innovation market. Currently, it is working on the "TIBIT without residue" project, where fruits and vegetables that do not meet sales standards due to their irregular shape, for example, are processed. Pastes, chutneys, or exotic brandies are made from them.
Storage
Store at 7-8 °C.
Care
As it is a Mediterranean herb, it is important to place it in a sunny spot. It is recommended to plant it in a large pot, as it will not thrive without nutrients. After planting, the soil should be watered regularly, but stagnant water should not be left, nor should the soil be allowed to dry out. Do not let water get on the leaves, as the sun can burn them. It is advisable to harvest the leaves every two weeks in spring and even weekly in summer, and unused leaves should be stored in the freezer.
The purchased plant must always be repotted to ensure its long-term survival indoors. We recommend repotting them into a larger pot or planter so that they feel comfortable in a heated apartment and do not wilt. It is also important not to forget to mist them (with water)!
