- 500 g seafood fish fillet
- 300 g shrimp
- 250 g black mussels
- 180 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
- 60 g strained tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Wash and clean the fish, then cut it into smaller pieces. Heat olive oil in a pan with the whole garlic clove, add the chopped parsley and basil, then add the fish pieces and shrimp.
Pour in enough water to half-cover the fish, and let it simmer for a few minutes. Remove the garlic, add the quartered cherry tomatoes, strained tomatoes, and black mussels. Pour in enough water to almost completely cover the ingredients, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot in a deep plate, accompanied by toasted white bread slices.
Chef's tip
For serving, use sourdough white bread, toasted until golden brown in a little olive oil.
