Preparation method

Peel the red onion, garlic, potatoes, and carrots. Finely chop the onion, crush the garlic, and cut the potatoes and carrots into small cubes.

In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the crushed garlic and sauté for another 30-60 seconds.

Chef's tip

When serving, you can make the soup even creamier and more piquant with a little lemon juice or a spoonful of sour cream.
