INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices (approx. 800 g) tuna
  • 400 g green or butter beans
  • 2 small heart lettuces or small romaine lettuces
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • One tablespoon sesame oil
  • 100 ml light soy sauce
  • One small piece (approx. 20 g) grated ginger
  • 2 limes
  • A few coriander, mint or basil leaves

PREPARATION

    Marinate the tuna steak in one tablespoon of soy sauce, a little ginger, and one tablespoon of oil.

    Blanch the green beans in boiling water, then refresh them in ice water.

    For the dressing, mix two tablespoons of soy sauce, one tablespoon of sugar, the juice of one lime, one tablespoon of black sesame seeds, and a little grated ginger.

    Sear the tuna, lightly brushed with oil, in a smoking hot pan for one minute per side.

    Quarter the lettuce hearts, mix them with the green beans and dressing, and serve the medium-cooked tuna on top.
Tip
This light side dish is excellent with any fish, shrimp, or even chicken. The salad can also be supplemented with broccoli, zucchini, or Chinese cabbage.
