Ingredients
70 g Gyermelyi 8-egg strawberry leaf pasta, 250 g chicken breast or chicken thigh fillet, 100 g leek, 100 g celery, 100 g red bell pepper, 50 g butter, 1 dl cream, 1 bunch of parsley, salt, freshly ground pepper.

Preparation

1. Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the leek lengthwise into quarters, then thinly slice it crosswise. Cut the pepper into small cubes. Thinly slice the celery.
2. Cut the cleaned, washed meat into small cubes. Fry it in butter until it turns white. Add the onion, pepper, and fry for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Pour in the stock or water. Add the celery and simmer gently.
4. When the meat is tender, remove it from the juice, mix it with the cream, then stir it into the soup.
5. As soon as it boils, remove it from the heat. Add the coarsely chopped parsley and season if necessary. Serve with strawberry leaf pasta, which can be cooked in the soup or separately.

In addition, it carries out agricultural activities on an area of 8,800 hectares, operating a closed vertical integration. It all started on January 21, 1953, when twelve farmers from Gyermely, unable to bear the increasingly impossible burdens of individual farming, founded the Petőfi Cooperative. In 1970, the government decided to build a pasta factory and was looking for a location. Gyermely's reputable cooperative undertook the task and was given the opportunity. This is how Gyermelyi Zrt. was founded.
