Ingredients
400 g Gyermelyi 4-egg macaroni, 150 g smoked, sliced ham, 200 g red bell pepper, 0.5 dl olive oil, 40 g butter, 2 sprigs of rosemary, salt, 80 g red pesto, 16 black olives, 16 green olives.

Preparation

1. Roast the pepper over a flame or on a griddle until black, then cover for 5 minutes and peel off the skin. Wash, remove the seeds and cut into strips.
2. Cut the ham into strips and fry. Sauté the finely chopped rosemary in olive oil, add the butter and the pesto.
3. Stir, add salt, put in the olives, the roasted pepper pieces and a little water from the pasta cooking water. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the al dente cooked, drained but not rinsed pasta. Mix loosely with the ham slices and serve.

Or make a red wine, blueberry venison ragout!

In addition, it carries out agricultural activities on 8,800 hectares, operating a closed vertical integration. It all started on 21 January 1953, when twelve farmers from Gyermely, unable to bear the increasingly impossible burdens of individual farming, founded the Petőfi Cooperative. In 1970, the government decided to build a pasta factory and was looking for a location. Gyermely's reputable cooperative undertook the task and was given the opportunity. This is how Gyermelyi Zrt. was founded.
