Description
Wide noodles are an excellent choice for dishes made with creamy sauces. They can be used in a variety of ways, and can even be used in special dishes and are also great for sweet pasta bakes.

We recommend it with creamy tomato sauce and chicken strips.

Ingredients
400 g Gyermelyi 8-egg wide noodles, 500 g chicken breast fillet, 4 spring onions, 200 g tomato, 2 cloves of garlic, 0.5 dl olive oil, 40 g butter, 2 dl cream, salt, ground pepper.

Preparation

1. Clean and wash the vegetables. If the tomato is tender, there is no need to blanch it, but if the leaves are harder, put it in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes, then drain, cool in ice water and dry.
2. Cut the cleaned, washed chicken breast into thin strips. Fry in hot oil. When browned, add the chopped spring onions, crushed garlic and stir. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Once the onion has collapsed, add the butter and tomato. Shake well, stir. Pour in the cream and 2-3 dl of water from the pasta cooking water. Bring to a boil and season if necessary.
4. Drain the pasta cooked in hot salted water – but do not rinse – and mix with the ragout, then serve.

Or make salmon noodles with hollandaise sauce!

It all started on January 21, 1953, when twelve farmers from Gyermely, unable to bear the increasingly impossible burdens of individual farming, founded the Petőfi Cooperative. In 1970, the government decided to build a pasta factory and was looking for a location. Gyermely's reputable cooperative undertook the task and was given the opportunity. This is how Gyermelyi Zrt. was founded.

Use
Cook in ten times the amount of boiling salted water containing a little oil.

Store in a dry place, protected from sunlight.
