HORVÁTH Rozi Ground Caraway

Recipe idea: Egg drop soup

Ingredients

1 small onion, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp Horváth Rozi ground caraway, 1 tsp paprika, salt, pepper, 1.5 liters vegetable stock, 4 eggs, 1 tbsp flour.

Preparation

1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, then sauté the finely chopped onion over medium heat until soft.
2. Add the flour and fry until light brown, stirring constantly.
3. Remove from the heat and stir in the paprika and ground caraway, then pour in the vegetable stock.
4. Season with salt and pepper and boil for ten minutes. Break the eggs into small bowls one at a time.
5. Stir the soup with a wooden spoon until it starts to swirl vigorously, then drop the eggs into the center one at a time.
6. Cook until the egg white has set, then remove from the heat so that the yolk remains soft.
