Recipe idea: Spicy mulled wine
Ingredients
1 liter dry red wine, half a liter of water, ten cloves, 1 star anise, 1 small cinnamon stick, 20 dkg sugar, 1 vanilla bean, 1 orange, half a teaspoon of black pepper, 1 smaller chili pepper.
Preparation
- Split the vanilla lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, then grate the orange peel, squeeze out the juice and put it in a pot with all the spices, water and wine.
- Boil for 10 minutes, if necessary, season with a pinch of salt, sugar or water.
- Serve hot in mugs after straining.
