Chivers has been bringing Irish families together around the dinner table since production began in Dublin in 1932. The first Chivers factory was in Henrietta Place until a new factory was built in 1952. However, the Chivers factory in Coolock became so well-known that the brand has remained in the consciousness of Irish shoppers for many years.
