The Black Magic grape, originally from Moldova, has a sweet taste and low acidity. It ripens in early June, its moderately conical bunches and elliptical, blue-black berries are almost completely seedless. In southern Sicily, as an early variety, greenhouse-grown Black Magic can be harvested a few weeks earlier.

Its flesh is crisp, its taste is neutral, and its sugar content is 14%. It has medium-sized bunches with oval, blue-black berries. It contains approximately 60 calories per 100 grams; its caloric content comes from simple sugars, making it an easily digestible fruit with low satiety. It has energizing, remineralizing, detoxifying, and refreshing effects.
Suggested use
This fragrant and juicy grape variety is excellent for making high-alcohol wines, as well as for decorating cakes and desserts.
