It contains a significant amount of minerals (potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron).

Storage

The fresh root can be stored in damp sand in a cool place for up to 4 months. In the refrigerator, it will keep for 2-4 weeks in a plastic bag. If you want to freeze it, it can be used for up to 6 months.
