Since ancient times, the seed has symbolized the beginning of new life, which is why it was held in great reverence even in ancient times. At that time, sprouting grains were buried in tombs with the dead, symbolizing rebirth, and in Asia, as early as 3000 BC, sprouts were germinated for their medicinal value.

Use

Can be eaten on its own, in sandwiches, in salads. Its neutral taste makes it perfect as an accompaniment to even spicier dishes.
