About the brand

The Harrer Chocolate Workshop and Confectionery has a history of several decades; it is a true family business where dedication to quality confectionery making is almost inherited in the genes. The confectionery began its operations in Austria in 1968, but since 1995, the cakes made according to special recipes and fabulous chocolate creations have also become available in Hungary.

In 2009, the Harrer Chocolate Workshop, which has a unique selection in Hungary, also opened its doors in Sopron, where visitors can get a glimpse into the magical world of chocolate making during an extraordinary chocolate tasting. The company has been led to success and is operated day after day by the dedicated work of its owners, Karl Harrer's perfectionism and Beatrix Harrer-Abosi's caring attention.

The Harrer Confectionery and Chocolate Workshop always works with selected, exceptionally high-quality ingredients. They pay close attention to the selection, origin, and processing of cocoa beans; thus, the ingredients used during production can only come from noble plantations.
