Ingredients

  • 500 g shrimp
  • 500 g canned tomatoes
  • 200 g onion
  • 30 g garlic
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes

    Sauté the chopped onion and 4 cloves of crushed garlic in half of the olive oil.

    Add the peeled tomatoes and cook thoroughly, season with salt and pepper, and add the herbs only at the end.

    In the other half of the olive oil, gently heat two cloves of garlic, then quickly sauté the cleaned shrimp in the fragrant oil.

    When serving, place the shrimp on the tomato sauce, sprinkle with feta, and garnish with more fresh herbs.

    It can also be prepared without feta, and instead of shrimp, you can use seafood, even salmon. If you like, you can also add roasted, peeled capia peppers. Good quality olives also pair wonderfully, as does fennel.
