We chose this breed because of its strengths because it has excellent slaughter value and meat quality (marbled, tender) and can compete with large beef breeds. The Hungarian Tarka breed is so to speak at home here, so it adapts very well to local conditions. We slaughter the young cattle at a specific age, which is also decisive for the quality of the beef. The meat of a young heifer cannot be compared to the meat of an aged dairy cow. The meat of the young heifer is easy to prepare and has a much richer flavour.
