Uses
The fruit can be consumed raw or squeezed into fruit juice. When dried, similar to plums, it retains all its mineral and vitamin content. It can be used to make compote, jam, and marmalade, and it can also be used well after freezing. Additionally, it is traditionally used for distilling pálinka.

Ingredients
- 50 dkg apricots
- powdered sugar
- ground cinnamon
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 25 dkg oat biscuits
- 2 dl whipping cream
Preparation
- Wash and drain the apricots.
- Stone the apricots, then blend them with powdered sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla sugar to taste.
- Crumble the oat biscuits into the bottom of the glasses, then spoon half of the apricot puree over them.
- Whip the cream until stiff, then gradually and gently fold it into the remaining pureed apricots.
- Spoon the apricot cream into the glasses. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Decorate with ground cinnamon before serving.

Fresh apricots are provided by Bács-Zöldért from Kecskemét, which has a history of more than 65 years. They have established Hungary's largest, 200-hectare orchard, which yields nearly 2,000 tons of premium quality, self-produced fruit and vegetables. The producer from Kecskemét combines traditional horticultural knowledge with the latest agricultural science results, which can be tasted in the outstanding quality of the fresh produce from the very first bite.
