About the Brand

JÓkenyér is a Hungarian family bakery that has been working since 1995 to make traditional German bread and sourdough culture available in a natural, additive-free form in Hungary. Its founders brought the necessary sourdough culture from Baden-Baden, and since then, they have been milling rye and wheat in their own mill to ensure all their products are made from purely natural ingredients. Today, their facility in Pilisszentiván supports production with modern technology and advanced logistics, while every single bread and pastry still undergoes processes performed by human hands.
