Feeding guidelines

The recommended daily feeding amount may vary depending on your dog's activity level, physical condition and weather conditions. Always provide fresh, clean water alongside food.

When feeding your dog Purina One for the first time, we recommend gradually transitioning to the new food by mixing increasing amounts of Purina One with your dog's current food over 7 days to allow their digestive system to adjust to the change.

Producer information

The PURINA brand first appeared in 1989 in St. Louis, USA, selling pet food and feed. In 1921, the PURINA Chow brand dry pet food was introduced to the American market. The successful products PURINA Dog Chow and PURINA® Cat Chow were then created. In 1985, Nestlé acquired the successful FRISKIES brand.

In 1998, the  DARLING brand became the property of Nestlé, and a pet food factory was built in Bük with an investment of 6 billion forints, which has been producing dry and wet pet food ever since - the first in Hungary. The Bük factory is currently Nestlé PURINA's largest pet food factory in Europe.
