If you are feeding your dog Purina One food for the first time, we recommend that you gradually transition to the new food by mixing the current food with increasing amounts of Purina One over 7 days to allow your dog's digestive system to adjust to the change.

The PURINA brand first appeared in 1989 in St. Louis, USA, selling pet food and feed. In 1921, the PURINA Chow brand dry pet food was introduced to the American market. The successful products PURINA Dog Chow and PURINA® Cat Chow were then created. In 1985, Nestlé acquired the successful FRISKIES brand.

In 1998, the DARLING brand became the property of Nestlé, and a pet food factory was built in Bük with an investment of 6 billion forints, which has been producing dry and wet pet food ever since - the first in Hungary. The Bük factory is currently Nestlé PURINA's largest pet food factory in Europe.
