The favourite flavour of the Italian capital - roasted into coffee beans, then finely ground and sealed in a capsule. In Rome, whether it's coffee or ice cream, hazelnut is the number one favourite. The secret of the enchanting flavour is that, in a manufacturing environment, unlike usual, we open the pores of the Arabica coffee beans with "lukewarm" roasting. Then we let it rest for a day, and finally we roll the coffee in small batches into hazelnut flavour, so that the open pores of the coffee beans absorb the flavours like a sponge.

Cafe Frei was founded by two friends: the novelist Tamás Frei, a former TV globetrotter, who has visited more than 150 countries in recent decades and loves coffee and the world associated with it with passion; and Tamás Langár, an economist and food industry entrepreneur, who helps the operation of the network from the business side with more than 30 years of experience.

The first CAFE FREI coffee house opened in Hungary in April 2007, and since then their coffee house franchise network has been continuously expanding. By now, they have grown into the country's largest coffee house chain. Thanks to their unique franchise system, 2013 brought them an international breakthrough when they opened the first Central European coffee shops. Since then, they have been operating coffee shops from France to Dubai. Among other things, in countries as exotic as Saudi Arabia.
