Halloween tök 3-5 kg 

The Halloween pumpkin belongs to the group of ornamental gourds, thus it is not suitable for eating, but it is best for pumpkin carving! 

The holiday of Halloween is known in many countries. At night, people dress up in scary costumes, tell ghost stories, have fun, and of course, carve pumpkin lanterns! 

The symbol of Halloween, for many centuries has been the carved pumpkin lantern, also known as the Jack-o'-lantern, which originally served a dual purpose: it kept evil spirits away and thus lit the way for the spirits of the dead so that they could find their way home.

Nowadays, it has become increasingly popular even here at home to party, joke, and scare our loved ones and acquaintances on the day before All Saints' Day. 
Especially children eagerly seize the opportunity to don witchy and scary costumes, make lanterns from carved pumpkins, and collect candy!

How do we start carving the pumpkin? 

Supplies : 

• Carving tools (knife, spoon, etc.) 
• Pumpkin 
• Tealight 
• Felt-tip pen (for drawing the template) 

1. Clean the pumpkin, cut off its top, and scoop out the insides. 
2. Draw the desired pattern with a felt-tip pen. For example: eyes, nose, mouth, or a broom, cat, nice pattern, etc.
3. Carefully carve out the drawn patterns. 
4. Place the tealight inside the pumpkin.
5. Place the lid or "cap" on it. Make sure the tealight does not burn the top and inside of the pumpkin. If it does burn, it's better not to put the lid on. 

And your hand-carved pumpkin is ready!

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place between 5-10 °C.
