Description
A new variety ripening in early June. A high-quality, large-fruited sour cherry variety bred by the Érd Fruit Research Institute. Its large, elongated fruit with a pleasantly sweet-tart flavor is carmine red. Its fruit is even larger than the Érd large-fruited sour cherry. It does not need to be harvested immediately upon ripening, as the ripe fruit can be kept on the tree for up to two weeks.

Interesting facts
The tree has medium-strong growth, fruiting occurs on spurs, so it is a variety not prone to bareness. It is characterized by good productivity. The ripening period is in early June. The fruit is large or very large. The skin is shiny and, like the flesh, carmine red. The flesh is firm. After ripening, it can be left on the tree for up to 2 weeks without its quality deteriorating. It can be used for fresh consumption and processing, but is also suitable for freezing. The variety is grafted onto a mahaleb cherry rootstock, which ensures early bearing, and it has good winter hardiness; as it is deep-rooted, its drought tolerance is also outstanding.
