Chivas Regal is a Scottish blended whisky from the Chivas brothers, produced as the property of the Pernod Ricard company. The roots of the whisky date back to 1801. The home of the drink is the Strathisla distillery in Scotland. This is the oldest operating distillery, founded in 1786.
It has been the leading whisky brand in Europe and Asia for over 12 years. Chivas Regal accounted for 61 percent of sales between 2002 and 2008. Although their sales rate has declined since then, they still sold 4.4 million liters of whisky in 2015.
