Mionetto

The Mionetto Prosecco winery was founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto in Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the prosecco regions. Its innovative approach quickly made it one of the leading wineries in the region.
The winery introduced many innovations and trends in the global prosecco market. They were the first to establish a distribution company in the USA. They played a significant role in creating the prosecco fashion in the United States.
Today, the word prosecco is synonymous with the Mionetto brand. As a leading prosecco brand, their products are available worldwide.

Prosecco is a 34,000 ha area located north of Venice, centered around Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. In terms of prosecco production, two prominent areas can be named: D.O.C.G. Valdobbiadene and D.O.C.G. Conegliano. More than 150 wineries here boast over 650 million bottles sold annually.
The main grape variety of the area is Glera, but since 2020, rosé proseccos can also be produced. Prosecco can contain up to 20% red grapes.
