Product description
Mozzarella is a classic Italian cheese with a fresh, milky flavour. Traditionally eaten with tomatoes and basil as a "Caprese" salad, but can also be eaten hot, served in toasted sandwiches, paninis or pasta dishes. Suitable for vegetarians.
Producer information
The Galbani story began in 1882 in a small Italian village in Valsassina, a lush green valley in the Lombardy Alps, near the shores of Lake Lecco. This was where Egidio Galbani and his father Davide began making cheese. Galbani invented the first modern version of mozzarella. Over the years, Galbani has become the favourite cheese brand of Italians. Today, it is also available in many other countries, so that everyone can enjoy the Italian way of life.
