A highly innovative blend of three completely different taste worlds in wonderful harmony. Sweet fruitiness from Barbados, dry spiciness from Mauritius, and floral freshness from the Fiji Islands. A true Caribbean taste extravaganza in a single bottle.

• Barrel type: ex-American bourbon, then French cognac barrel
• Aroma: Delicate and rich, with notes of fresh pear, quince jelly, gooseberry and slightly smoky molasses.
• Taste: Elegant and smooth, yet spicy. A medley of cloves, honey, liquorice, beeswax, vanilla, caramel and prunes create perfect harmony.
• Finish: Long and warming. Characterised by baked apple, tonka bean and dried banana.

Producer information

Cognac Ferrand has long been at home in the Caribbean, as it sells barrels to distilleries. This gave the company's head, Alexandre Gabriel, the opportunity to taste rare and old rums that either belonged to the cellar masters' own stock or were used to create the character and flavour of standard rums.

This is how Ferrand decided to bottle and release rare vintage rums. And this is how the Plantation rum brand was born, which now releases several vintage rums as well as blended rums. Plantation rums undergo a unique double ageing process.
