Product description

A varietal wine characteristic of the region, made from hand-picked grapes from the old plantations of the volcanic Fekete-hegy in the Káli Basin, in which, in addition to the mineral character, lively acids appear with a little creaminess. Dry white wine. Excellent gastronomic wine, thanks to the little residual sugar, it can be paired with a relatively wide range of dishes, from semi-hard cheeses, through cabbage dishes to finely seasoned white meats.

Producer information

Their family has been engaged in plant cultivation and animal husbandry for generations in Szentbékkálla, in the Káli Basin. Of these, viticulture and winemaking have always played a prominent role.

They would like to address consumers who appreciate unique, fruity and mineral wines that reflect the characteristics of the region. Their goal is to create a varietal assortment that is better suited to production and sales opportunities, to develop local wine tourism and to increase online sales. They would like to appear in the offer of several catering establishments, and to sell some of their items in retail chains.

Their main motivation in winemaking is the sight of the well-ordered plantations covering the landscape. To create a unique product that is characteristic of them. If many people say that the wine is good, they like it, it fills them with satisfaction and inspires them enough to continue on the path they have started.

The greatest joy for them is the fruit of their work, the icing on the cake is a good vintage! To watch the process of how a small planted plant develops into an older vine and what shades and flavors of wine it can give during its life.
