Is there a healthier fruit juice than 100% fruit content?

Yes! The answer lies in fruit processing.

The most widespread production in the world is fruit juices diluted with water from juice concentrates. The content of fruit juices produced in this way is determined in a table, e.g. the ingredients of a 100% apple juice: 10 kg juice concentrate + 58 l water + other additives.

In the case of fruit juice concentrate production, the production of the concentrate is a physical effect involving the removal of water, concentration, with the use of heat and chemicals. Thanks to the technology used, the fruit loses a very large percentage of its nutritional value, the vitamins.

The Nektária family business does not work from concentrate, it has its own fruit processing plant.

They process fresh, Hungarian, ripe fruits seasonally, from which they make valuable, vitamin-rich pressed juice and fruit puree. Then, by mixing the apple pressed juice and the eponymous fruit puree in the right proportions, they produce fruit juice. Their product is richer in vitamins and nutrients, and has a higher fibre content thanks to the direct use of ripe fruit. 1L of fruit or vegetable juice, depending on the variety, is the pressed, pulpy juice of 1.5-2 kg of fruit or vegetables, with the eponymous fruit puree. Consuming their fruit juice has a beneficial effect on supporting our health.

Ingredients

• 4 cl Nektária fruit puree syrup
• 2 dl hot green tea
• 1 lemon slice to taste

Preparation

Pour the fruit puree over the green tea, flavour with lemon to taste. You can decorate with fresh fruit slices.

Our family business, Nektária Manufaktúra, was founded in Fejér County in 2012. We produce healthy, domestic, premium quality products from vegetables and fruits of local producers, mostly locally, using a gentle process. Our company currently provides or contributes to the livelihood of 20-25 families directly.
